 Manages all of PIH satellite and optical fiber connection at all the sites (in the district), ensuring that each site has 100% uptime, create and manage group policies for a well use of Bandwidth and access of Internet.  Manages the EMR system on a networking basis ensuring that the EMR system has 100% uptime.  Manages all of PIH computers in the District area by ensuring that the computers are working at optimal capacity and scheduling a regular maintenance program for all of them; this involves virus cleaning, data backup, hardware maintenance and software maintenance and security.  Manages and troubleshoots all the networks in all of PIH sites in the district, this involves network installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and extension.  Maintains a broad knowledge of operating systems and hardware.  Lead or guide the work of other staff engaged in similar functions and provide help to any other administration and communication duties  Coordinate with other PIH teams to schedule updates in the IT needs of PIH, Manage the KIREHE Hospital Electronic Billing system, through the billing module on Open-EMRS server, and provide help desk and short tutorial for Hospital staff.  Report to the PIH Rwanda IT manager, to PIH representative in the district and to PIH team based in Boston.
