in my role as an operations manager the following are my key responsibilities • Assist in the achievement of Branch business growth targets & Branch Financial Management to enhance productivity. • Oversee customer service delivery, maintenance and improvement of retail banking service standards. • Oversee operational efficiency in the branch • Oversee the cash management and repatriation process to ensure timely provision of cash to the branch and remittance of excess cash from the branch to minimize the risk of having inadequate / excess cash in the branch. • Continuous monitoring of internal accounts in the branch to ensure reconciliation and elimination of differences/long outstanding items/unexplained items in the accounts. • Responsible for safekeeping of Branch assets, including structures, equipment, inventory and cash. • Manage all risks and maintain the bank’s control standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements with regards to branch operations. • Responsible for organizing regular spot checks on Teller cash, Treasury cash plus other valuables, and handling any issues arising as per policy to minimize fraudulent transactions. • Responsible for operational evaluation of all branch employees who report directly to the job holder in order to motivate staff and build a strong team in the Branch.
