About the Role
We are currently looking to hire an energetic, highly motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoys networking and establishing relationships to join our team as Partner Success Lead – Rwanda. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial and strategic relationships with organizations in accordance with company's overarching objective, goals and strategies.
As Partner Lead, you'll represent the company brand and lead relationships with key strategic partners. You will manage our partnerships, from development to launch and ongoing partner management. You will grow these partnerships, meeting essential metrics through different partner programs, marketing, and new integrations. The individual will need to have a good mix of skills including an ability to understand a variety of partnerships and their value propositions and to build and deepen partner relationships with both internal and external teams, and a desire to increase growth of our business.
Reports to: New Markets Manger
Partnership Lead Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new partners and executing exciting partnership solutions
- Negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy
- Managing all aspects of partner growth: prioritization of strategic and financial assessment and negotiation of new projects, and ongoing partner management
- Managing success metrics and partner growth
- Maintaining direct relationships with partners, proactively resolving issues and creating value
- Working with a broad range of team members in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Legal, serving as an advocate for our partners while balancing Lipa Laters's goals
- Developing metrics to measure ROI from partnerships.
- Acquiring strategic partners, including prioritizing partners, strategic and product assessment, and negotiation
- Maintaining relationships with existing partners and continuously seeking business opportunities optimization
- Guide partners to achieve mutual goals and improve business engagement
- Monitor the overall engagement establishment and project, oversee the progress, and project timeline management
- Responsible for administrative duties along with legal team to draft and finalized legal engagement with partners and liaise with partners to settle commercial deal, based on guidelines from the organizations
- Be the first hand to handle issues related to the partnership and escalate the issue to the right parties (internal and external) to be solved
- Manage relationships with customers and vendors to build the brand and the business
- Champion and manage new projects to create stronger partnerships
- Build the organizational network by through targeted outreach and strong project planning
- Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy
- Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
Required profile for job ad : Partner Success Lead Required Skills/Abilities:
- Start-up mindset and hunger to achieve great results
- 5+ years strategic business, product and/or partnerships experience, preferably with experience managing business relationships and projects
- Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders, both internally and externally
- Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing projects at scale and delivering results
- Prior experience in a similar role and a strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships
- Great experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions
- Highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
