Maintenance Manager

We are looking to employ a Maintenance Manager at our Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda.

• The candidate must have an outstanding knowledge of building trades and maintenance.
• The Maintenance Manager is expected to have fantastic organisational and time management skills.
• You will display natural leadership and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail and solution driven

This Position is for you IF:

• You are able to manage multiple projects on the property simultaneously
• You have a keen eye for detail and able to establish preventive maintenance programs for rooms, various equipments and machinery.
• You are able to manage a small team – daily rosters, allocation of tasks, follow-up, training, etc.
• You are able to create solutions, action, and follow-up on maintenance issues on the property
• You have experience working with budgets and performance management
• You can work accurately under pressure autonomously.
• You can manage supplier communications on behalf of the property
• You can compile reports of consumptions
• You are well organised and work systematically
• You have basic IT knowledge and able to work on MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• You have experience working with Electrical (including HVAC), Generators, boilers, plumbing, and carpentry issues
• You have proven experience in a hospitality maintenance department for at least 5 years
